Kyle's statement on advising trainees

Prospective students and trainees

Undergraduates

Students looking to pursue research opportunities can contact us with a short description of your interest in our lab and a description of your relevant lab experience (including laboratory coursework with GPA). We expect students to have a strong work ethic, the ability to work around 10 hours a week, and the motivation to pursue an independent research project.

Graduate students

The Costa Lab welcomes inquiries by students that are curious about our work. Students interested in the lab can apply to the graduate programs in Plant and Microbial Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Cancer Biology, or Microbial Engineering.

Postdoctoral fellows

If you are interested in doing a postdoc in the lab, please send a cover letter explaining your interest in our work, your CV, and contact information for three references to [email protected].
